TreeSleeve is one of those things people notice at the campsite. It’s a can cooler made from a solid piece of hardwood instead of neoprene, and the makers at Better Wheel Workshops made me a custom one with The Parks Podcast logo on it. Almost everyone in the parks has a can in hand, whether it’s water, a soda or a beer after a long hike, and this just feels more natural out there than a foam koozie.
My thoughts:
- It’s a unique idea. I hadn’t seen anything like it before TreeSleeve.
- Wood feels like it belongs outside, right at home next to the campfire.
- They do custom designs. Mine has the TPP logo, and you can put your own name, logo or design on yours.
- If you don’t need custom, their themed designs are really cute: campers, tents, mountain scenes, bears, trout.
- They make great gifts, for family or as a business gift.

The details: handmade in Vermont from hardwood grown in Better Wheel’s own forest in the Green Mountains. Themed designs start at $35, custom at $45.

TreeSleeve made this custom one for me. This isn’t an affiliate link. I just like what they make.
