I bought the Bear Buddy after seeing it at campsite after campsite, and now I get it. It’s a loveseat for the outdoors, big enough for Tootsie and me to sit together, and I’ve been known to curl up on it for a nap. It doesn’t always make the van because of its size, but on this trip I knew I’d be spending a lot of time at the campsite, and it was the obvious choice. It sits on my “porch” just outside the van and it’s my everyday seat. I lounge, work and hang out in it.
My thoughts:
- It’s big and comfortable. Padded back, padded arms, and room for two.
- Tootsie and I can both fit, which is half the reason I bought it.
- A day reading or sitting by the fire, curled up under a blanket, this is the chair I want to be in.
- It’s bulky, so it’s not for every trip. When I know I’ll be settled in at camp, it comes along.
- Two cup holders and two wine-glass holders, because of course.
- They also make a heated version for cold nights.
