The Birdie Personal Alarm is a security option when you on your outdoor adventures. I clip it on my backpack in a spot that would be easy to pull to alert that something is going wrong. It is one layer of security when you are out in our parks and public lands.
My thoughts:
- I was gifted a Birdie when I started solo camping and hiking. It’s a nice layer to my security systems that I keep when I’m doing outdoor adventures.
- Know that this is only 1 option for security. It is so important that you have layers of options including personal awareness of your surroundings, a whistle, etc.
