Give a park pass to your friends and family. It makes a perfect gift for a year full of visits and memories.
Park passes give money back to our parks and makes it cheaper per visit. A lot of parks will also tie other discounts to a park pass, like campsites and merchandise.
My thoughts:
- When I’m going to be at several parks within a state, I pick up a park pass. It typically takes 2-3 visits for it to pay for itself.
- Some state park systems will offer other discounts when you have a park pass. For example, when you buy your Georgia State Park pass through their Friends of Georgia State Parks, you also get free or discounted campsites.
